3News has compiled a list of Fourth of July events happening across Northeast Ohio!

CLEVELAND — America is set to celebrate its 247th birthday on July 4. In honor of Independence Day, many Northeast Ohio communities are holding celebrations, festivals, parades and fireworks.

3News' Kierra Cotton broke down how you can stay safe while celebrating the holiday weekend as well as some of the biggest celebrations happening across Northeast Ohio.

3News has compiled a list of events happening across the greater Cleveland area broken down by county.

Ashtabula County

4th of July Dinner & Fireworks Cruise on the Goodtime II

The boat ride will feature a dinner buffet and a fireworks show as well as live music from an in-house DJ. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Cleveland Guardians game with fireworks

  • Monday, July 3
  • 7:10 p.m.
  • Progressive Field

The game features a Hawaiian shirt giveaway, Sugardale dollar dog night and Phantom Fireworks at the end of the game with Uncle Sam's Party Playlist. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Highland Heights

StoneWater’s Old-Fashioned Fun Fourth of July Celebration

  • Saturday, July 1
  • 5-11 p.m.
  • StoneWater

Stonewater will have entertainment, a food stand, family-friendly activities, as well as a patriotic dog costume contest at 6:45 p.m. The Northeast Ohio SPCA will also be at the event with dogs available for adoption from 6-8 p.m.

Lakewood

  • Parade begins at Kenneth and Lake Avenue and continues to Lakewood Park

Kid-friendly activities will be held at the Parkview Pool from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entertainment at The Grove will begin at 5 p.m. with fireworks ending the night at 10 p.m.

Friends and family can enjoy dancing and music from DJs, rides on the Euclid Beach Rocket Car as well as food and drink.
