BASEBALL

PORTLAND ST. PATRICK 5, PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 0 / PORTLAND ST. PATRICK 5, PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 2

Brayden Simon hurled a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and striking out 16 while playing a role in the Shamrocks' CMAC doubleheaders sweep of Pewamo-Westphalia. Tyler Thelen had a pair of RBIs in the 5-0 win, while Logan Howe had two RBIs and Brady Leonard went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in St. Patrick's 5-2 victory.

OKEMOS 14, HOLT 2 / OKEMOS 15, HOLT 13

Gabe Hart hit the walk-off home run in the sixth inning of game two to help the Wolves close out a CAAC Blue doubleheader sweep over Holt. Hart finished with two total home runs and three RBIs, Keegan Noble picked up three hits and three RBIs and Jake Stagg, Carter Haremski and Henry Schnelker each chipped in three hits and two RBIs for Okemos. Chase Monzo notched five total RBIs and Luke Redd added three hits and a double for the Rams.

LAKE FENTON 12, OWOSSO 11

Liam Patrick, Eden Ackley, Austin Blaha and Ryan Maier each finished with two hits for the Trojans as they came up just short in a defeat to Lake Fenton.

SOFTBALL

LAINGSBURG 6, DANSVILLE 2 / LAINGSBURG 7, DANSVILLE 3

Addyson Buchin picked up both victories to lead the Wolfpack to a CMAC sweep over Dansville. Peyton Stahr finished with four hits and a solo home run through both games and Savvy Stirm went 3-for-4 in game one with two runs scored for Laingsburg. Laci Neal notched five hits and a double and Bree Delano and Maddi Carter each tacked on two hits for the Aggies.

WILLIAMSTON 16, LANSING 0 / WILLIAMSTON 14, LANSING 0

Jaiden Griffith went 7-for-8 wit a home run and four stolen bases and two RBI in the Hornets' CAAC Red doubleheader sweep. Thea Fortin picked up a pair of pitching wins and went 6-fo-6 with three RBI. Tamara Sleight had three hits in the second game.

PERRY 7, JACKSON LUMEN CHRISTI 5 / JACKSON LUMEN CHRISTI 10, PERRY 2

Sara Austin picked up the win in the circle in game one as the Ramblers split the nonleague doubleheader with Jackson Lumen Christi. Austin picked up 11 strikeouts in game one to go with her two hits and RBI. Alivia Davis notched a double and three RBIs and Teagan Hallock picked up a solo home run in game two for Perry.

GIRLS SOCCER

LAINGSBURG 8, POTTERVILLE 0

Allie Brasseur and Kierra Rusz each netted two goals to lead the Wolfpack to a CMAC victory over Potterville. Payge Woodworth tacked on a goal and dished out two assists for Laingsburg.

HOLT 3, WILLIAMSTON 0

Kara Barker and Rylie Ysasi each had a goal and an assist and Sawyer Nelson added a goal for the Rams (1-4-2) in their nonleague win. Nylah Dunham had 10 saves while recording the shutout for Holt. JV score: Holt 3, Williamston 2

GIRLS TENNIS

OWOSSO 7, CHESANING 1

Lillian Mead and Leighton Sobak led the double for the Trojans as they won all four double matchups to help secure the victory over Chesaning.
