Since 1998, Euflex (Eindhoven University Flexibility) has been a wholly owned TU/e subsidiary. We offer result driven support to arrange staffing and staff development, both within the TU/e as for external organizations.
F-1 students may not work off-campus during the first academic year, but may accept on-campus employment subject to certain conditions and restrictions. After the first academic year, F-1 students may engage in three types of off-campus employment: Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
Federal Work-Study jobs help students earn money to pay for college or career school. Undergraduate and graduate students with work-study jobs will work part-time on or off campus while enrolled.
students can work part-time on campus up to 20 hours and part-time on CPT simultaneously. Example: Students can work up to 20 hours per week on-campus and additionally up to 20 hours per week on part-time CPT or over 21 hours per week on full-time CPT so long as the work does not interfere with academic progress.
Off-campus employment is only available to F-1 students who have completed at least one full academic year of their program of study, and who have an economic hardship that qualifies for the Department of Homeland Security's emergent circ*mstances.
Pay rates for FWSP jobs are determined by the Student Employment Office based on the level of skill or experience required for the job, but they generally range from $11/hr to $15.40/hr. Pay rates for each student are listed on their Employment Authorization Forms (EAFs).
Pre-completion OPT can be paid or unpaid training related to your major field of study. You may work for multiple employers (including short-term gigs, self-employment, contract work, or work for hire) as long as your cumulative number of hours is within your authorized limit.
An international student can be enrolled in two different SEVIS-approved schools at the same time (concurrent enrollment), as long as the enrollment in both schools amounts to a full time course of study, and both schools are SEVIS-certified.
